Βαριωνᾶ/Βαριωνᾶς, ᾶ, ὁ (Βάρ Ἰωνᾶ t.r.; Βαριωνά N25; בַּר יוֹנָה) Bar-Jona (=son of Jonah; cp. Jon 1:1; 4 Km 14:25) surname of the apostle Simon (Peter) Mt 16:17.
